Rodrigo De Paul has decided his future with Tini, and it's impacting football: "He's making the decision."

Rodrigo De Paul is one of the Argentine national team 's most prominent players. Shortly before the 2026 World Cup , the midfielder made a decisive decision about his future, one that has his partner, Tini Stoessel , at the center of attention and is impacting global football.

"While waiting to finalize his transfer to Inter Miami, De Paul did not travel to preseason training with Atlético de Madrid. It's practically a given that De Paul will continue his career in MLS, where he will share a roster with none other than Lionel Messi, among many other Argentinians," reported Diario Olé.

"I was told that De Paul's relationship with Tini weighed heavily on his decision. He wants to be close to her, who lives in Miami, even though she travels a lot. We thought it was because he wants to be close to Messi, but his current relationship weighs heavily, and that was a determining factor in his decision," journalist Federico Bueno shared on ESPN.

"He's in love with De Paul. It's because of love. He's back together, he reconciled with Tini. And Tini spends 80% of her time in Miami. There's talk that she got married in secret because of some photos Tini posted with Rodrigo. There's talk in Europe that De Paul received an offer from Galatasaray and said no. My guess is, he either stays in Spain or goes to Inter Miami," said journalist Claudio Civiello.

"If I had a euro, I'd say he's going to play for Inter Miami," journalist Moisés Llorens told ESPN from Spain. "The player has no intention of renewing his contract with Atlético de Madrid. The club doesn't want him to leave for free in 2026," the journalist added, referring to De Paul's future, who is reportedly at Inter Miami with Lionel Messi.

"They've reached an agreement that if there's no agreement with the club, they'll put him up for sale, but it will always be Rodrigo De Paul, who will defend their colors next season. As long as there's an offer that convinces Atleti. That will come," the journalist indicated.

"Everything leads me to believe that De Paul will be an Inter Miami player. But we'll have to see how the transfer market progresses; there's a month and a half left until the deadline.
